Andrew Laurendi is an emerging filmmaker currently advancing his studies at the Los Angeles Film School, where he is developing a strong foundation in directing, editing, cinematography, and audio production. His training emphasizes both the technical and creative aspects of filmmaking, and he has already completed several independent short film projects that reflect his growing storytelling abilities and production skills. Prior to this, he earned a film degree from Long Island University Post, where he studied communications and explored core principles of media creation and visual narrative.
Originally from New York, Mr. Laurendi graduated from Iris Wolfson High School in 2020, where he served as class president and played an active leadership role within the school community. In addition to delivering daily morning announcements, he was recognized for his academic achievements and commitment to student engagement. He also dedicated time to volunteering with HorseAbility in Old Westbury, supporting individuals with disabilities through therapeutic horseback riding programs while assisting with scheduling, administrative tasks, and client communication.
Mr. Laurendi’s professional background includes customer-facing roles at Whole Foods and Stew Leonard’s, where he developed strong interpersonal and service skills. Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, he is committed to maintaining physical wellness and supporting mental health awareness initiatives.
